BODY BOARDING
Body Boarding is a great fun activity for everyone. Like surfing it is about catching and playing with the waves. At the Burren Outdoor Education Centre we provide the bodyboards and full wetsuits so it is suitable for any weather. The activity is run in waist deep water so everyone can join in, this makes it suitable for people of all abilities and even non-swimmers are happy to try. The results can be very positive.
The beach we use is located in Fanore about 20 minutes drive from our centre. Both the drive and the beach boast scenic views of Galway Bay, the Aran Islands and of course the unique Burren landscape.
