Geography Fieldwork
The Burren OEC is one of the leading centres in Ireland offering guidance and support for students doing their geography fieldwork investigation, we provide expert tuition and all necessary equipment to help your students with this compulsory component of their Leaving Certificate geography exam. New projects are offered each year to suit DES topics. All projects involve students in active participation in relevant measurements, observations and recording as well as advice on follow up work and report presentation.
Ecology fieldwork
We offer Ecology studies for the Biology Leaving Certificate syllabus. Studies are also available for Junior cert level students and for National schools. A choice of ecosystems are available from rocky seashore to woodland. All studies will involve students in active participation with relevant collection equipment, abiotic measurements, observations and recording. Similar studies are available for Junior certificate students and National school students.
